Mama
This is my beautiful mother. She blessed my life for thirty-eight years on Earth...and now she continues to bless me from Heaven. She always loved butterflies...especially fluttery white ones. They reminded her of the Holy Spirit...which always lived inside of her.
She was an accomplished actress, writer, and artist. She graduated from Hollywood Professional School of the Arts; went to school with Tony Curtis, worked as a newspaper reporter for the San Bernardino Sun, worked as a public relations analysist for Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL), was a staunch, dedicated Democrat, loved her country, and loved her twin girls.
She had a beautiful voice, sang on the Merv Griffin show, modeled for Mabelline and Max Factor (her face was their advertisement for many years), and assisted on numerous political campaigns. She wrote a book entitled To The Victors about her battles with depression and schizophrenia, and I believe, was a genius.
Because of my mother, I became a therapist and a teacher. My mother always encouraged me, believed in me, and thought I was her angel.
